Trying my hand at a more traditional style of rose.Quick 12x12” painting from the other night.
I’m debating the idea of doing the rose in colour or leaving it black and grey then adding a bit of a yellow glow to the orange aura around it.
For now I’m going to put it to the side so I can mull that idea over while I work on drawing something Marvel-ous for some new paintings. ;) (Hint. Hint.)

This is one of the prints I made last night. Unfortunately didn’t finish the other piece I wanted to get done so I didn’t end up making a copy for my portfolio. Nor was I able to make it to my regular printing place so I ended up getting less copies.
I’m still debating the name of the piece as well but thought I’d reveal it anyway. I may possibly name it “A mortals song”
I only made 5 copies for the heck of it because I plan to experiment some more on this piece and wanted a few copies before I go ahead.
Anyway that’s the end of my rant… check it out! :)
Doodled a rose… I’d love to tattoo some traditional inspired roses.
It seems to be a trend that I post at night when no one sees the drawings but I’m a night owl so that’s how she goes I suppose. :P
I will try and keep my blog much more active as I’ve got my motivation back now so keep your eyes peeled. :)
