Trying my hand at a more traditional style of rose.Quick 12x12” painting from the other night.
I’m debating the idea of doing the rose in colour or leaving it black and grey then adding a bit of a yellow glow to the orange aura around it.
For now I’m going to put it to the side so I can mull that idea over while I work on drawing something Marvel-ous for some new paintings. ;) (Hint. Hint.)

Doodled a rose… I’d love to tattoo some traditional inspired roses.
It seems to be a trend that I post at night when no one sees the drawings but I’m a night owl so that’s how she goes I suppose. :P
I will try and keep my blog much more active as I’ve got my motivation back now so keep your eyes peeled. :)

Painted the lady. Watercolours and marker on 140lb watercolour paper.
Naked lady doodle, inspired by a traditional design of a pin up inside a rose.
This is just a little doodle for fun. Markers on watercolour paper. Will be adding the watercolours to this piece while I watch some Pushing Daisies. Then it’s time to get to the real work.
